On Saturdays, the tour takes place in Redfern & Chippendale. Starting at the "Old Clare" hotel, you'll hit up two neighbourhoods, home to a range of eclectic small bars and heaps of impressive street art.
After the tour, we’ll provide you with a map link to all the bars and places visited on the tour.
If joining the Newtown & Enmore Rd route, you'll get to explore bars along Enmore Rd, named one of the "coolest" streets in the world by TimeOut magazine.
If joining the Redfern & Chippendale route, you'll walk through "Spice Alley", a hawker-style laneway offering a range of Asian street foods.
If joining the Newtown & Enmore Rd route, you'll meet your guide at the iconic "I Have A Dream" mural, where they will tell you the fascinating story of its creation.
SATURDAY: We meet outside The Old Clare Hotel on the Kensington Street side (not on the Broadway or Carlton Street sides). Your host will be waiting near the entrance to the Old Clare hotel, wearing a shirt or cap with the "Local Sauce Tours" logo on it.
