About this experience

Discover Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe and Taormina, the most beautiful town in Sicily in this fascinating guided tour. During the trip we will admire some of the most evocative landscapes in Sicily, crossing the whole island.

The bus will stop at 2000 meters, you will be standing on the pulsating and fiery heart of the island: Etna.
Possibility to buy tickets on site to climb up to 3000 meters by cable car and private jeep with mountain guide.

Continue to Taormina, known as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean", suspended like a flowered balcony over the Ionian Sea overlooking the bay of Giardini Naxos.
Taormina is known and famous for its climate, its rich vegetation, its superb buildings, its elegant squares and its panoramic position about 200 meters above the sea, at the foot of Monte Tauro. Optional visit to the Greek Roman Theater and free time. Return in the evening.

Stop 1

Transfer about 3 hours to Mount Etna. During the trip we will admire some of the most beautiful and evocative landscapes of Sicily.
The bus will stop at 2000 meters, where the walk to discover the extinct Silvestri Craters will begin.
Possibility to purchase tickets on site to climb up to 3000 meters by cable car and private jeep with mountain guide.

Free time and lunch at Rifugio Sapienza (Italian Alpine Club), on the southern side of the volcano.

Taormina, known as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean", suspended like a flowered balcony over the Ionian Sea overlooking the bay of Giardini Naxos.
