At approximately 8:30am, your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel within 3rd ring of Chengdu. Then, transfer to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, also known as Chengdu Panda Base. Here, you can explore the daily life of these beautiful creatures and observe them eating bamboo at their active time (9:00am to 11:00am).
In the afternoon, visit the Sanxingdui Museum, the ruins of the capital of the ancient Shu Kingdom from over 4,000 years ago, also located in Guanghan City. The cultural relics at Sanxingdui are precious and contain rich historical, cultural, and scientific value. They bespeak themselves as the most attractive ones amongst the multitude of the spectacular relics in China. The discovery of Sanxingdui predates 2,000 years of Sichuan's history and proves that the upper reaches of the Yangtze and the Yellow River region are the cradle of the Chinese civilization.
After tour, your guide will transfer you back to your hotel in downtown Chengdu.
