About this experience

Dive into the splendor of St. Mark’s Basilica with priority access and an immersive audioguide. Choose from options depending on how curious you feel: standard entry, access to the panoramic terrace, or the full experience including the museum and the gem-studded Pala d’Oro.

Step into a cathedral unlike any other, where over 8,000 square meters of mosaics, many made with real gold, glow beneath soaring domes. Your audioguide reveals legends of stolen relics, Venetian power, and the hidden meaning behind every detail. Climb to the terrace for sweeping views once reserved for the Doge himself or wander the museum filled with sacred treasures.

Your ticket also includes access to hidden gems around the city like the Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta on Torcello Island, the Sacristy of Santa Maria della Salute, and the Pinacoteca Manfrediniana. These can be visited on your own, and transport is not included.

Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Start your visit by meeting your friendly host just a few steps from the famous St. Mark’s Square. Even before entering the basilica, you’ll be soaking in the beauty of Venice’s most iconic square, surrounded by stunning architecture and the buzz of local life.

2
Stop 2

Walk right past the line and into one of Venice’s most unforgettable sights. As you explore at your own pace, the audioguide brings the basilica’s golden mosaics, marble floors, and soaring domes to life with stories that make this incredible place feel even more magical. It’s no wonder they call it the “Church of Gold.”

3
Stop 3

Enjoy free access to the sacristy of one of Venice’s most iconic churches, known for its baroque architecture and stunning views of the Grand Canal. This peaceful space can be visited independently and is not covered by the audioguide.

4

Visit this small but culturally rich art gallery inside the Diocesan Museum, just behind the Basilica. The collection includes sacred art and historical pieces from the Venetian tradition. This site is not part of the audioguide.

5

As a bonus, your ticket also includes entry to this beautiful and historic church on the quiet island of Torcello. It’s not part of the main visit or the audioguide, but if you're exploring the lagoon, it’s a peaceful and rewarding stop you can enjoy on your own.
