Meet up at the designated location in Mamallapuram (see Departure Point) and board your boat at 7:30 AM for morning departure or 4:00 PM for afternoon departure for 45-minute ride.
Experience a ride of the traditional fisherman’s kattumaram boat, also known as catamaran, carved out of wood while enjoying the scenic beach of Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram). Take a ride on the traditional fisherman’s boat and have a dip in the deep seas! The catamaran is a rough-looking boat, that rides slow on waters, and the ride is approx. 45 minutes. You will be taken 2 kilometers into the sea, before you can jump into the sea. Life jackets will be provided to you.
