About this experience

Tortuguero is one of the main nesting sites for sea turtles in the Caribbean. This tour will take you to live the wonderful miracle that is the nesting of turtles.
Enjoy the experience, see a turtle spawn. This tour is very restricted, since the National Park requires compliance with strict rules in order not to disturb the turtles.
This event can be observed in Tortuguero from July to October of each year. This tour takes place at night and lasts approximately three hours.
It starts from our office and from there we will walk to the sector of the beach where it corresponds to us to wait to be called by a turtle spotter so that we can go see it.
The tour always takes place even if it rains, it cannot be postponed for another day.
What to wear?
Closed shoes, dark clothing (mandatory), flashlight, something for the rain.
Taking photos and videos is prohibited (regulations do not allow the use of electronic devices on the beach, such as cell phones, smart watches, cameras, tablets, etc.).

Live with us this wonderful experience with the best certified guides. We are committed to the conservation of this species and all those that inhabit this beautiful place. The National Park gives us 2 hours to be on the beach to see the turtle nesting process. This happens from 8pm to 10pm or from 10pm to 12am; the schedule is assigned by the National Park Administration. All participants must show up at our office on the day of the tour at 5pm to receive the assigned schedule and sign the participant log.

We are located 175 meters south from the main dock of Tortuguero, river side, wite house with orange kayaks in the front.

On the day of the tour, the client must present him or herself at 5 p.m. at the reception to find out the assigned time and sign the participation log.
