Stop 1

Your tour begins with a convenient pickup directly at the cruise terminal in Le Havre, followed by a scenic 2-hour drive to your first stop

Stop 2

You will continue your journey to Pointe du Hoc, this area stands as one of the most dramatic and significant D-Day landmarks. Perched on high cliffs between Utah and Omaha Beaches, this site was a heavily fortified German position. On June 6, 1944, U.S. Army Rangers bravely scaled the cliffs under enemy fire to neutralize the artillery. Visitors today can explore bomb craters, bunkers, and the memorial dedicated to the Rangers’ extraordinary courage.

Stop 3

Afterwards, head to Omaha Beach and pass through 8 kms of the coast of facing the English Channel. Ashore, you will find a sculpture called Les Braves ‘The Braves’ in honor of the soldiers who fought the war. There will be an opportunity to stop for a quick lunch near Omaha Beach.

Stop 4

Next, continue the tour to the Normandy American Cemetery to pay tribute to the fighters of the battle. The visitor center offers a detailed exhibition about the war. This will be our last stop before heading to a 2 hour drive back to the the port or your hotel.

Return to Le Havre
After a full day exploring Normandy’s most important World War II sites, relax on your return journey to Le Havre, arriving back at the cruise terminal.
