Hongcun Village, a 900-year-old settlement located at the foot of Mount Huangshan, boasts such typical residences, in addition to carvings that are said to be among the best preserved in China.

In 2000, Xidi village by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization as a World Heritage List. With highly valued Confucian culture and honored the Confucian virtues in their daily life, from developing a village, building a house, handling their daily affairs.

Tunxi Ancient Street in Huangshan City is the famous snack street and commercial ctreet. The street is not wide, paved with stone road, both sides line with blocks architectures of Hui style, the shop opened in the street also is a specialty of Huizhou.
