Fort Imperial in the homeland was part of the first line of defense in Dubrovnik where battles were held chest to chest. Bosanka is a small village on the slope of the mountain Srđ, just 5 minutes away from mount Srđ and it is the second location on this tour. The battle for Bosanka was one of the most important battles during the Homeland War. Today, Bosanka is a kind of memorial park dedicated to fallen Croatian soldiers.
Sustjepan is 10 minutes drive away from Bosanka, and it was the most important first line of the defense of Dubrovnik, almost completely surrounded by the Yugoslav army where battles were held chest to chest. Sustjepan was defended by only 15-20 Croatian defenders of Dubrovnik and had been attacked by at least 10 times more enemy soldiers. We are going to visit Sustjepan as a last point of this interesting tour and after Sustjepan, the driver/guide will drop you off at the requested location.
