About this experience

Hi guys, welcome to the REAL Italy!

Join me and I’ll bring you to discover a magic place, the Turano Valley!

A full day surrounded by Nature (hiking, lake, mountains, falls), History and Culture (old village, Castle, Hermitage) and homemade Organic Food (km 0).

Small group, max 8 pax.

We'll visit a ghost medieval village with Palace Maze and Garden, have a GREAT lunch in a local place around the Turano Lake, one of the region’s best-kept secrets, with blue clear waters surrounded by green mountains, and visit Castel di Tora, in the Top 100's Italian small villages.

About me, I work as hiking-environmental guide, Official host for Natural Reserve, Guide for Antuni medieval Village and responsible or hiking of our association CamminandoCon

I'm also an Airbnb Super Host, renting small apartments -fully renovated- in our small village, so consider to stay here overnight to live there Real Italy.

Detailed itinerary

The Experience starts with a short and easy hiking, visiting the abandoned medieval village of Monte Antuni, which dates back to the year 1100, opened just for YOU!

We explore its restored palace, gardens, labyrinth, and if feasible the frescos in the Hermitage.

There we’ll have 360◦ spectacular view of the Turano Lake and surrounding mountains included in the Natural Reserve.

I'll describe you history and legends, as well flora and fauna, protected by the national reserve of which i'm an official Guide.

Walk back to the car, and moving to the close Castel di Tora, one of the "most beautiful Italian small villages" with its narrow streets, iconic rock of 13' century, and many spots for great lake views photos.

Here you're going to taste a delicious italian food, with many local products, that will remain in your memories for a long long time .....

on the way back, we'll stop for a last pictures together on the lake, the best way to end your perfect italian day!
