Our first stop is Caelum, a family project located on route 7 (road from Buenos Aires leading to Chilean border). The project was born in 2009. Respecting the environment and maintaining a family structure to ensure the care of each bottle with passion, the winery offers high quality white and red wines, and yummy pistachios.
The name “Caelum” is due to a constellation that can be seen only from this part of the hemisphere representing the chisel used by the artist to paint. They think the hands which help to make the wine are the chisel of our industry.
Second stop at Casarena ; this winery represents one of the most accomplished faces of the Mendoza wine renaissance. Established on a century-old cellar in Agrelo, the winery has preserved the heritage of its old vines while infusing them with contemporary energy. The wines, crafted by a young and talented team, reflect the diversity of the Luján soils.
Finally, we arrived at Finca Minimal for a 6 courses gourmet lunch. This micro winery coexists with limited production of organic and natural premium wines, artisanal production of high-end goat cheeses, and a unique food and wine proposal, immersed in an organic Malbec vineyard from 1905.
