From 7:30 to 8:30 AM, meet your friendly guide for hotel pickup and depart for Ninh Binh province. Around 9:15 AM, enjoy a 15–20 minute rest stop to relax during the journey.
At 10:30 AM, visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010, and learn about Vietnamese history during the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
Around 11:15 AM, arrive at Tam Coc. At 11:45 AM, enjoy a buffet lunch featuring local specialties like goat meat, fish, and chicken, with vegetarian options always available. At 1:00 PM, take a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride through Tam Coc’s stunning landscape of paddy fields, rivers, caves, and sky — often called “Ha Long Bay on land” by locals. At 3:00 PM, continue with a cycling tour around the village to experience the daily life of local people.
16.00: Within 2 hours on the boat, local boat riders will orderly take you to visit three Tam Coc caves: Hang Ca (the first grotto), Hang Hai (the second grotto) and Hang Ba (the third grotto).
At 4:30 PM, board the bus for the return trip to Hanoi. Arrive back at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 6:45 and 7:00 PM.
