The Sezibwa Falls are located 35km east of Kampala in the district of Mukono district. The spectacular waterfalls are believed to have been born by humans many hundred years ago. The Sezibwa Falls are one of the most spiritual and cultural centers where many natives flock for blessings, wealth, and fortunes.
Traditional healers perform ceremonies for those seeking love, children, a successful business deal, or a good harvest.
The Sezibwa Falls, which flows from the wetlands between Lake Victoria and Lake Kyoga. Sezibwa Falls are about seven meters high and the sweet hissing sound created by the falling water forms beautiful scenery for watching, attracts bird species, and the beautiful compliment the hiking.
The Sezibwa falls have a cultural and traditional bearing in the region and to the Baganda in particular due to the myths behind the formation of the Sezibwa River.
It is believed that this river was born by a woman on her way to a place called Kavuma Bukunja.
