About this experience

For all of you who want to see more than the usual sights, or for those who are eager to find out what socialism and communism was all about, we've designed the tour to New Zagreb: Back to Socialism tour. Crossing over the river Sava, you'll be entering completely different scenery, discovering a very complex side of Zagreb that is not visited by tourists ever. Here you'll get to see the development of our city since the Post-World War II era, mainly through that "mystical" time of communism, and see how it breathes today as it remains the main housing area of Zagreb. New Zagreb is currently also a cradle of a very vivacious Croatian contemporary art scene.
