The gypsum reservoir is fed by the gypsum river, one of the tributaries of the Maipo river and was built to supply Santiago with water, today being its main reservoir.
In addition, very close to El Yeso Reservoir, you will find the El Plomo Hot Springs, an ideal place to relax with a pleasant thermal bath and then visit the place and admire the beautiful flora and fauna of the surroundings.
