About this experience

Welcome aboard for a thrilling 2.5 hour sailing adventure aboard USA 76, an International America’s Cup Class racing yacht that challenged in 2003 for sporting’s oldest active trophy, the America’s Cup. Feel the adrenaline as the yacht powers up and we sail towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Public trips are conducted multiple days a week, year round, departing from PIER 39 in San Francisco.

We will sail under the Golden Gate Bridge weather permitting.

When the winds are good on the north side of the Bay we will do a flyby of the Sausalito waterfront.

Angel Island is a dominant feature of the Bay and we will have good views of the southern shore of the island.

Crissy Field is usually buzzing with activity and it serves as a launch point for some of the best windsurfers and kiteboarders in the world.

Important notes

Check-in: Please arrive for check-in 15 minutes prior to departure. The experience is 2.5 hours long. We recommend public transportation but there are private parking garages located across the street from our location. Directions to Pier 39 are available at this link: https://www.pier39.com/pier-info/directions-parking. 

Included: The yacht trip includes bottled water and energy snacks. We also have waterproof pants and warm jackets on board for you to borrow if needed. Life jackets are provided and will be required to be worn during racing. 

What to Bring: Please wear flat, closed toed shoes with rubber soles. Dress comfortably and in layers. Don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, and camera! 

What to know: The crew aboard will get you involved if you wish to help sail the yacht. Participation is encouraged!   

Tipping: Gratuity for your captain and crew members is not included but is appreciated if you enjoy the experience.
