FULL-DAY EXPLORER TOUR INCLUDING LUNCH
A chance to immerse yourself in Albania's rich landscapes we embark on a small hike 1-hour each way to see what is locally named the Black Cave! Headlights are provided as we head in to explore the Cave.
You'll witness spectacular views of the canyons then delight yourself with a hike to Erzen River and a chance for a swim in the summer months.
Lunch is included. After a day of exploring we finish with a visit to Petrele castle for a cold beverage and a look at one of the most talked about castles in the region. A beverage of your choice is included. The tour ends with a hotel drop-off

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Once we arrive it is a moderate hike up to the cave which lies 500 m above the Adriatic. Comfortable walking shoes are essential. You will have an opportunity to explore the cave also know as “Black Cave”. The cave itself is approximately 360 meters deep, and inside the darkness are impressive stalagmites and stalactites. Headlights will be provided.

Stop 2

We then hike back to the village café for an included lunch of locally produced foods. Lunch is included

This is one most beautiful canyon in Tirana area. Erzen River, which flows in a rocky terrain, has created its spectacular canyons over the centuries and the crystal-clear water and the depth of the canyons create unique and spectacular views. There are pools in front of the waterfall at the canyons for those who want to swim in the summer months.

After our day of exploring we finish with a short drive to Petrela Castle. Set on a hill with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and Tirana in the distance, we will enjoy a drink at the lovely restaurant right at the top rebuilt from the old castle. We may even manage to catch the sunset.
Tour concludes with hotel drop off.
