Accompanied by our French guides who have been living in New York for years, come and discover Central Park, by bike with the theme of series and cinema. For half a day you will travel through the park, without missing anything while discovering legendary cinema scenes that your guide will show you in photos or videos.
You meet your guide at the bike rental shop. Once equipped we will take the road to Central Park to discover all its secrets and learn about the cinematographic references!
We start our visit with a stop at Gapstow Bridge which has seen many scenes from films and series such as “The Devil Wears Prada”, “Mom, I Missed the Plane”, or “Serendipity”. This stop also allows you to admire one of the most beautiful views of the southern skyline of Central Park and to appreciate the new skyscrapers that have arrived in the landscape.
We will continue to the Mall which will give you the impression of being in a 400 meter long cathedral lined with hundreds of American Elms. You may recognize here a cult scene from “Breakfast at Tiffany” or the romantic comedy “Listen to your Heart”.
The heart of Central Park is surely the most present in the cinema. This place has hosted the Avengers or the stars of Gossip Girl, or the New York special unit brigade. The fountain is a real playground for filmmakers. Observe the details of the sculptures that surround it representing both the four seasons and the times of the day.
We will pass in front of the famous Alice in Wonderland sculpture near the Conservatory Water where the famous Stuart Little film was filmed. Do you see the little mouse? Perhaps it is hidden in one of the remote-controlled electric boats on the reservoir.
We will then pass around the Jackie Kennedy Reservoir and see the joggers taking advantage of this ideal circuit before going to work.
Around the reservoir, several apartments of famous people like Jackie Kennedy or the apartment of Kevin Lomax in the legendary film “The Devil’s Sidekick”.
Nothing is more wonderful than stopping in front of the most legendary bridge in Central Park, “Bow Bridge”. Many actors have crossed it on foot or passed under it in a boat during a date.
