A wine tour for wine lovers to the heart of modern Greek wine. The region Nemea, famous for its indigenous grape variety Agiorgitiko, is only a short ride of little more than 1h from Athens away.

The tour brings you to 2 selected boutique wineries, all well-known for their quality wines. You will meet with wine makers and oenologists showing you their passion for their work and taste wines from the most important Greek but also international grape varieties. You will learn interesting facts about wine production and the long history of wine making in Greece.

To round up your tour you will visit an organic vinegar manufacturer. After an introduction to organic farming and the manufacturing process you will have the chance to taste the products.

Gastronomy goes hand in hand with fine wine and you will have a tasteful and rich picnic in the vineyard with local delicacies, accompanied by a fine wine of the region. You will enjoy the picnic with the beautiful view over the Nemea valley and its endless vineyard’s.
