What you'll see

Your schedule of the day tour starts with early morning pick up from your Agra hotel when our driver and tour guide will meet you to conduct your Taj Mahal sunrise tour. You will be picked half an hour before sunrise time and taken to the Taj so that you can get the best pictures of the rising sun and it’s impact on the white marble of the Taj. After having history lessons and admiring the beauty of the Taj you return back to your hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast you proceed for a guided tour of the massive Agra Fort which is the second world Heritage Site after Taj Mahal. The tour guide will explain to you the strategic important of the Fort and will show you various palaces housed inside the Fort. You also get to see the balcony which Shahjahan was captivated by his son and heaved his last sigh overlooking the Taj. After the visit of the Fort you can enjoy lunch.

Post lunch you will be driven to see the third world heritage site of Agra – Fatehpur Sikri which in it’s hey dey was bigger in size than London. This was the second capital of Akbar and is built in red sandstone. Here you visit the palace part and the Tomb of Sufi Saint Saleem Chisti. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri while returning to Agra, you stop at famous Korai Village. Here you get to see the real Indian village life. Almost 20 years back a tribe known as Kalandar used to live here and used to work as bear charmers. Now this practice is banned far animal love and still these people live here after rehabilitation and do other jobs. At the end of this tour. You reach Agra and if you wish to visit some local art and crafty you are free to do otherwise you will be transferred to your hotel.
