Ilamatepeq volcano´s crater hides in its insides a beautiful turquoise lagoon that no other volcano has in the country, and as the perfect way to finish the day we take you to visit Coatepeque lake for you to enjoy a nice late lunch and take some time to relax ,and why not a little jump into the clear waters of Coatepeque.

What you'll see

This experience is about visiting the Volcanos natural park near Cerro Verde, where you are able to enjoy the nice weather with an awesome view of Santa Ana, Izalco Volcano and Coatepeque lake. Here we will start the hike to Santa Ana volcano, where you are able to see the crater, which has a sulfur lake with a spectacular color, the hike lasts about 4 hours round trip. At the end of the day we stop for a great late lunch at Coatepeque Lake where you can enjoy and relax. Later we will drop you off at your hotel.
