About this experience

Selous boost larger population of Elephants as well as large numbers of Buffalo, Hippo, Crocodile and endangered Wild dog. Commonly seen are pride of Lion, Bush buck, Impala, Warthogs, Ostrich, Giraffe, Eland, Baboon, Zebra, Hyena, Kudu, rare sable antelope and Leopard. In Selous there are more than 400 species of bird life: Fish eagle, Kingfisher, Secretary bird, Sunbird, Hammer kop, Red & Yellow bill stork, Open bill stork, Weavers, Water birds, Marabou stork, Vulture’s etc. In short, the variety of the wildlife to be explored are endless.

Depart in Zanzibar at 0800am or Dar es Salaam at 0820am on a shared charter plane for an hour flight to an Airstrip in Selous Game Reserve upon arrival proceed with the game drive to enjoy what nature will provide! You will see elephants, Lions, Elands, Leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, Wild-dogs, Lesser Kudu, hippos and crocodiles live in this immense sanctuary, which measures 50,000 sq. km, practically undisturbed by human impact. The park has a variety of vegetation zones, ranging from dense thickets to open wooded grassland. Picnic lunch on the bush relax for an hour then proceed with game drive to enjoy the African Savannah safari with full of wildlife. See the wild animals trail to the lakes and rivers to drink water. Game drives till afternoon around 0400pm take your flight back to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar. This is a short safari but it's worth if you do not have much time for safari.
