The Udzungwa Mountains National Park is a sumptuous forested reserve, a rare tropical forest that is home to a realm of unique plants, birds and animals & the sacred preserve of hikers and walkers.
These forests are remarkably unspoiled, a wilderness of extremely beautiful woodland routes – with no driving tracks at all, brings walkers to the spectacular 170 m drop of Sanje Waterfalls.
The park is a home of an important population of primates (10 species- more than in any of Tanzania’s other parks) as well as the grey faced sengi.
