Our representative will pick you up at 8am from the hotel to start your tour by visiting The Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. After that transfer to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis
After your visit to Memphis and Sakkara, you will head to visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. Dahshur is a famous royal necropolis which holds many famous Pyramids and includes the Red and Bent Pyramids of King Snefru. His first, known as the ‘Bent Pyramid’, is situated to the south of the necropolis while his second monument at Dahshur is about 4km to the north and known as the ‘Red Pyramid’. The monument whose ancient name was probably ‘Snefru Shines’ was to be Snefru’s third attempt at pyramid construction (including Meidum). The site is about 40 km from Cairo.
