Detailed itinerary

1

This Dubai Desert Safari adventure typically kicks off with a pick-up from your location in the afternoon, with drive times ranging from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on where you are. As you travel, you'll witness the urban landscape of Dubai gradually give way to vast, golden dunes. Upon reaching the desert's meeting point, you'll have a chance to take a short break, use the restroom, and explore the area. Here, you can also rent a quad bike or buggy for an exhilarating self-driving experience on the sand dunes (pre-booking is highly recommended for this activity). Pick-up usually occurs between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM in winter, extending to as late as 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM during the hottest summer months or depending on the package chosen. A 4x4 vehicle, typically a Land Cruiser, will pick you up from your hotel or designated location in Dubai.

2

The Red Dunes Desert Safari in Dubai offers an exciting blend of adventure, culture, and nature in the Arabian desert. Located just outside the city, this safari features thrilling dune bashing in a 4x4 vehicle over the stunning red sand dunes, followed by activities like sandboarding, camel riding, and quad biking.

After the adrenaline rush, you'll visit a traditional Bedouin-style camp to relax and participate in activities such as henna painting and trying on traditional Arabic clothing. As the evening sets in, enjoy live cultural performances, including belly dancing and Tanoura shows, while indulging in a delicious BBQ buffet dinner with both local and continental dishes.

3

Buggy Ride or ATV Ride is a thrilling outdoor adventure where participants drive dune buggies or ATVs across the desert landscape. These off-road vehicles are specifically designed to tackle the sandy terrain, allowing you to easily navigate the dunes and rugged desert.

As you ride, you'll experience the rush of speeding through the vast beauty of the Dubai desert. The activity includes safety gear, guided instructions, and opportunities for photo stops. Most rides offer around 20-30 minutes of quad biking, letting you explore the dunes at your own pace while enjoying an exhilarating off-road adventure.

4

Dune bashing and sandboarding in Dubai offer a unique blend of adventure, culture, and stunning natural beauty, making them must-try experiences for anyone visiting the region.

Dune bashing involves riding in a 4x4 vehicle driven by professional drivers who skillfully navigate the steep dunes, creating a rollercoaster-like ride filled with sharp turns, steep climbs, and thrilling descents. The ride can be bumpy and fast-paced, providing a rush of adrenaline, typically a modified SUV like a Toyota Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol, over the dunes of the desert. It’s an exhilarating off-road experience.

Sandboarding is similar to snowboarding but takes place on sand dunes. Participants ride down the dunes on a specially designed board. The safari guide will give you a brief lesson on how to balance and maneuver, adventurers can climb the dunes and ride down at their own pace. The feeling of gliding down the soft sand is both fun and exhilarating.

5

As you enjoy the vibrant performances, you'll be treated to an extravagant feast of authentic Arabic cuisine. The buffet features a variety of perfectly grilled meats, fragrant rice dishes, and an assortment of fresh salads. For dessert lovers, a selection of delectable Middle Eastern sweets is also available. Throughout the evening, refreshments are served, allowing you to unwind and savor the rich flavors and warm hospitality that make this experience truly special.

This fusion of cultural performances and a culinary journey through Arabic flavors offers an ideal mix of entertainment, tradition, and indulgence, all set against the stunning backdrop of the desert. The evening is filled with traditional entertainment, showcasing mesmerizing acts like belly dancing, the Tanoura dance, and a thrilling fire show featuring fire-breathing or fire-dancing performances, ensuring an unforgettable cultural experience in the heart of the desert.
