Detailed itinerary

1

A typical Dubai Desert Safari is a thrilling experience that offers a blend of adventure, culture, and luxury from pick-up to drop-off.

The journey to the desert takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, offering a scenic drive through the outskirts of Dubai toward the desert, also known as the meeting point. This is the first stop, where you can use the washroom before beginning the adventure drive. Here, you can also stretch your legs, rent a quad bike or buggy for a self-driving experience (pre-booking is recommended), or take photos of the red sand dunes while your safari guide prepares the vehicle for the main event - dune bashing.

1. Pick-up usually happens in the afternoon, around 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM during winter and as late as 3:30 PM 4:30 PM during the hottest month of summer or depending on the package selected.
2. A 4x4 vehicle (usually a Land Cruiser) will pick you up from your hotel or designated location in Dubai.

2

A Dubai Desert Safari tour is an adventurous and thrilling experience that allows participants to explore the Arabian desert on a Quad Bike, combined with traditional desert activities. This is a popular way to experience the vast, golden dunes of Dubai, while enjoying the unique landscape and culture.

3

A Buggy Ride or ATV Ride is a popular outdoor adventure activity where participants drive dune buggies or ATVs across the desert terrain. These vehicles are built for off-road experiences, making it easier to navigate through the sand dunes and rough desert landscapes.
During the ride, participants can enjoy the adrenaline rush of speeding through the dunes while experiencing the vast beauty of the Dubai desert. This includes safety gear, guided instructions, and stops for photos. It's an exciting way to explore the desert in Dubai while engaging in an adventurous off-road experience.

Most rides allow for around 20-30 minutes of quad biking, where you can navigate the dunes at your own pace.

4

Sandboarding is an exhilarating activity commonly featured in desert safaris in Dubai, allowing participants to ride specially designed boards across the picturesque dunes of the Arabian Desert. These sandboards are tailored for sandy terrain, providing a unique experience. Prior to embarking on this adventure, participants receive thorough instructions on effectively using the boards. The activity is set against the backdrop of Dubai's stunning sand dunes. Following an exciting 4x4 ride through the desert, participants can ascend the dunes and glide down on their sandboards, experiencing the thrill of sliding down the dunes—a sensation that is both exhilarating and distinctive to desert landscapes. Experienced guides ensure safety throughout the activity, providing valuable tips on navigating the dunes securely. In addition to the adrenaline rush, sandboarding rewards participants with breathtaking views of the desert, particularly during sunset, enhancing the overall experience

5

The evening is filled with traditional entertainment, including mesmerizing performances such as belly dancing, the Tanoura dance, and a thrilling fire show that features either fire-breathing or fire-dancing acts, ensuring an unforgettable cultural experience in the heart of the desert.

As you enjoy the breathtaking performances, indulge in a sumptuous feast of authentic Arabic cuisine. The spread includes a delightful array of grilled meats, cooked to perfection, accompanied by a variety of fresh salads, aromatic rice dishes, and mouthwatering desserts. Refreshments are served throughout the evening, allowing guests to fully relax and savor the flavors of the Middle East. This combination of cultural performances and culinary delights creates an unforgettable experience, offering a perfect blend of entertainment, tradition, and hospitality amidst the enchanting backdrop of the desert.

6

End of the Tour. The entire safari experience typically lasts between 6 to 7 hours, making it a full evening of adventure, culture, and entertainment.
After a few hours in the desert, the tour usually concludes with a drop-off back at your hotel.
Important Tips when joining this tour:
1. If you're prone to motion sickness, take precautions as the bumpy ride can be intense. Do not eat heavy meals at least 1 hour prior to the pick-up time.
2. Dress Comfortably: Wear light, breathable clothing, and avoid sandals or open shoes as sand can get everywhere. Wear warmer during winter as the desert tends to get windy.
