Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Tbilisi (capital of Georgia) was based in 4th Century, which is located on 380-600 meters above sea level.

Our journey starts with Tbilisi, from one of its district from where we go up with Cable car on Mtatsminda Park. From there view on whole Tbilisi opens up in front of you, from 200-300meters hight. You will see unrealistic views, which starts from start of Cable car.

Tbilisi Botanical Garden is located on 500 meters above sea level, which is overlooking the whole city. There you will see different plants and flowers from all around the world. You will be able to enjoy miracles of nature all in one place.

Stop 3

Narikala Fortress: Was established in 4th century and expanded in 11th century, in era of King Davit Agmashenebeli. Narikala is located on 500 meters above sea level and is overlooking old Tbilisi.

Afterwards, we will go down by Cable car in the center of Tbilisi on "European Square". From European Square we will walk through Abanot Ubani, which is one of the most beautiful and oldest districts of Tbilisi. It's actually the place from where Tbilisi started to establish.There you will be able to see old landmarks, waterfall and just feel like you are in 17-18th century Tbilisi.

Stop 5

We will finish tour of Capital of Tbilisi with Holy Trinity Cathedral, which is a new building and is 3rd biggest Orthodox cathedral in the world.

The idea of building it comes from 1500 years of Autocephalous and 2000 years of Christianity. Construction of Cathedral started in 1995 and finished in 2003.

After we move to city of Mtskheta.

Stop 6

From Tbilisi, we move to direction of Mtskheta. But, before that we will visit Jvari monastery, which is overlooking city of Mtskheta from the mountain.

Soon after accepting Christianity in Georgia, construction

of Jvari Monastery started, which was in 4th century, during 30s years.

The main big church was built in 11th century.

From Jvari Monastery you will be able to enjoy magical panorama;

Wave-like mountains, panorama of city of Mtskheta and a place where two rivers unite (Aragvi and Kura (Mtkvari)).

Stop 7

In historical documents Mtskheta is mentioned from 2000-3000 years ago. But as densely populated city - 3-4 century BC.

Construction of Svetitskhoveli Cathedral started in 1010 year and ended in 1029 year. Here, 4 great sanctity of the Orthodox world is kept.

1) Mantle of Isaiah the prophet's

2) the robe of Jesus Christ

3) Particle of Andrew the Apostle

4) Wood Cross, where are small particles of the cross, on which Jesus Christ was cast
