Detailed itinerary

1

Start this full-day fishing trip with a pick-up from either your Jackson or Teton Village accommodation. If you don't already have a fishing license, your guide will be more than happy to stop for one on the way to the river. Choose from either the Snake River, Green River or Salt River to do your fishing.

The Snake River is a relatively high volume, very braided river flowing out of Yellowstone Park. The Green and Salt rivers are both lower volume and more technical rivers.

Brown and rainbow trout are common on the Green, while cutthroat and brown trout are found on the Salt River. The guide will provide you with fishing equipment, but you are more than welcome to bring your own equipment as well.

The ride will be in float fishing format with 2 anglers and 1 guide per drift boat. Anglers will fish as the boat drifts with some opportunities to get out of the boat and wade as well. Enjoy a picnic lunch stream-side before getting back into the water for more fishing.
