Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Tour to the Valley of the Moon, enjoy a sunset from another planet, visiting the Tres Marías, the Canyon, the Amphitheater and the Licarantay viewpoint.

Altiplanic Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons, where our guide will give us some explanations regarding the flora and fauna that inhabit the place. Likewise, we will make a stop at the Chaxa lagoon, where you can see flamingos. In the same way, we will pass through Socaire and the Tropic of Capricorn, where we will make a short stop to take photographs.

Piedras Rojas and Lagunas Altiplanánicas will take us through important tourist places within the Atacama Desert. To get to the Piedras Rojas lagoon, or Aguas Calientes salt flat as it is also known, we will have to climb in our vehicle to 3800 meters of altitude and walk for 1 hour and 15 minutes, to see these copper-colored rocks, as well as the lagoons and salt flats around.

Stop 4

The tour to the Tatio Geysers will leave at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama towards the Altiplano, climbing the hills and mountains of the Andes Mountains. After 1 hour and a half of travel, we will arrive at the Geysers, a natural spectacle unique in the world, with 80 smoking geysers at 4,200 m altitude. Next to this natural setting, we will enjoy a restorative breakfast, and then tour the geothermal field, surrounded by numerous columns of steam. On the way back to San Pedro de Atacama, we will make a stop at the Putana River, where we will observe the native flora and fauna of the place.

Astro photography tour, in a space with very little light pollution, special for observing the night sky. The tour, which is separated into three stages, will have a talk about the Andean worldview. In the same way, there will be a moment of telescope observation, with which you will be able to see planets and some details of them that are not visible to the naked eye. Finally, you will have a photo session with the starry sky in the background so that you can take home a souvenir of this experience.
