At the Hill of Crosses, you will have a chance to purchase a cross (at very reasonable prices) from the local people, to leave on the hill or take with you as souvenirs. Please note that you can also bring a cross which you've made yourself if you'd prefer to do so!
At the Hill, we will take you on a guided tour so you get to know some stories and legends that will help you appreciate this place better. After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the place by yourselves without the guide.
After the Hill of Crosses we'll be driving to town Siluva where you'll have a free time to visit the chapel which was built on top of the stone (it is still there in the centre of the chapel) where Blessed Virgin Mary appeared back in 1608!
After free time in Siluva, we'll be heading back to Riga.

We will drive through the town of Siluva which is widely known for the first apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Europe back in 1608 - two hundred fifty years before Lourdes and Fatima.
You'll have a free time to visit Shrine of Our Lady of Siluva church and First Chapel at the Rock which was built on top of the actual stone where Blessed Virgin Mary appeared.
