Experience Budapest before the crowds arrive at the major attractions and see the awakening city in a vintage Russian jeep.

Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and guide you through downtown Pest and the key sites of the Buda Castle District. Enjoy peaceful moments at Fisherman's Bastion without crowds while taking in the calm morning atmosphere and the stunning panorama.

Breathtaking panoramic views await you from Gellért Hill lookout point, where you'll gaze over the Danube and Margaret Island. You'll also visit the Central Market Hall when only locals are shopping and chatting with vendors.

Then you'll ride along the Danube, enjoying views of the Parliament and Chain Bridge before being dropped off in downtown or at your accommodation.

Detailed itinerary

Meet your driver at your accommodation, then begin exploring downtown Budapest.

Stop 2 Pass by

Pass the National Museum on the Boulevard.

Stop 3

Your driver will stop at the famous indoor market of Budapest giving you 30 minutes to explore on your own. This will allow you to see the cooking ingredients used by locals in their homes. You'll have the opportunity to buy some paprika or local specialties

You will cross the Danube into Buda via one of Europe's most beautiful suspension bridges.

Stop 5 Pass by

Pass by the famous thermal bath frequented by nobility and kings in the early 1900s.

Stop 6

You will ride to the top of the hill, then walk to the panoramic point. There, you can capture stunning photos and enjoy breathtaking views of Budapest, including the Danube, the bridges, and Buda Castle.

Stop 7

Your driver will guide you through the Castle District, showcasing its unique atmosphere and historical landmarks.

Stop 8 Pass by

Enjoy a ride through the old cobblestone streets of the former civic town of the Castle District.

Stop 9

You will visit (outside) one of Hungary's former coronation churches. The commentary will help you learn about the historical church, and you can admire the unique ceramic tiles on the rooftop.

Stop 10

You will stop and may leave the jeep for about 20 minutes. The line of lookout towers on the medieval city walls offers excellent photo opportunities and magnificent views of the Pest side. From here, you can see the Parliament, Margaret Island, and the Chain Bridge along the Danube.
(Please note that only the upper level of the Fishermen’s Bastion requires admission fee.)

Pass by the iconic Neo-Gothic Parliament of Hungary, situated along the Danube River.

Stop 12 Pass by

The Chain Bridge, the oldest connection between Buda and Pest, offers a picturesque view with the Buda Castle District in the background.

Your tour will conclude in downtown Budapest, and your driver will be happy to drop you off at your desired accommodation, restaurant, or location.
