Detailed itinerary

1

Your guide-driver will meet you in the morning, and you will depart from Tbilisi toward the majestic Great Caucasus Mountains. After approximately 90 minutes, you will arrive at Jinvali Dam, an impressive artificial reservoir on the Aragvi River. This location is ideal for capturing memorable landscape photos, with breathtaking views of the dam, turquoise waters, and the surrounding mountains.

2

Just a short 15-minute drive from Jinvali Dam, you will reach Ananuri Castle, one of Georgia’s most iconic historical sites. This 16th-century fortress features two churches and a citadel that once served as the residence of the Dukes of Aragvi. The complex also includes a 14th-century watchtower, predating the main fortress, which was used to monitor approaching enemies.

Perched on the shores of the Jinvali Reservoir, renowned for its vibrant turquoise waters, and surrounded by the stunning Caucasus Mountains

3

The next stop is the Friendship Monument, also known as the Russian-Georgian Friendship Monument, located at an altitude of approximately 2,300 meters near the Jvari Pass. Perched on a cliff about 600 meters above the Demon Valley, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

The monument is a striking semicircular structure made of concrete and stone, featuring a vibrant mosaic on its inner wall. The mosaic depicts the friendship between Russia and Georgia, including images of Soviet soldiers, Yuri Gagarin, Georgian and Soviet symbols, as well as representations of nature and industry. Built in a distinctive Soviet-era style, it is a unique and photogenic landmark in the region.

4

From 25th December to 20th April, you can visit Gudauri, Georgia’s most popular ski resort. Take the cable car up to 11,000 feet and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Caucasus Mountains.

Gudauri offers a wide range of winter activities, including skiing, snowboarding, snow biking, paragliding, building snowmen, snowball fights, or simply relaxing and playing in the snow. It is the perfect winter destination for adventure, fun, and creating unforgettable memories.
