About this experience

If you wish to see and explore the breathtaking Trnovačko lake, famous for its recognizable heart shape, then this tour is for you! After a 2 and a half hour drive from our meeting place, we will reach the starting point of our hike. From there, we will hike for 5 kilometers until we reach Trnovačko lake. This lake is often regarded as one of the most beautiful mountain lakes and world famous as the “heart-shaped lake”. There, we will have our picnic lunch. For those who are interested, you can also go for a swim in the lake. After that, we will head back to our starting point and head back to Sarajevo. Throughout the hike we will have a chance to see highest peak of Bosnia and Herzegovina Maglic.

We will meet up at our office which is situated on left side of Miljacka river bank. Address is Obala Isa bega-Ishakovića 3

We will stop at Trnovacko lake for a picnic lunch and a swim during hot summer days.

Half of the hike will be in Sutjeska National Park while other half will be in Piva National Park.
