Do you wish to hike to the tallest waterfall in all of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a height of 98 meters and have a picnic lunch with an unforgettable view? If so, this tour is perfect for you! From the starting point of the hike, there is around 5 kilometers of slightly downhill terrain which is going to Skakavac waterfall. When we reach the waterfall, we will have our picnic lunch there. After lunch, we will take a different uphill trail which is going to show us a different view of the waterfall, from the top side. That trail is approximately 3 kilometers long. After we have enjoyed the view, we will walk for another 2 kilometers on flat gravel, back to our starting point.

Skakavac waterfall is located 15 kilometres from Sarajevo, in southwest part of Ozren Mountain, southeast of the Bukovik peak, 1.532 metres above the sea level. Its height is 98 m. In 2002, Skakavac waterfall with its surroundings is declared by Sarajevo Canton as monument of nature.
