The DMZ area is the closest district to North Korea. This is primarily held in the Imjingak peace park where you can see the freedom bridge and Mangbaedan.

Then move to Dora observatory where you can take a glimpse look at North Korea. Weather permitting, you can observe North Korea through a telescope.

The last stop will be the 3rd tunnel, which you will have the opportunity to enter the tunnel made by North Korean soldiers on foot.

This tour is ideal for those interested in experiencing a unique glimpse into North Korea and the DMZ region..

**We might need to take a DMZ shuttle at the Imjingak Park to enter the DMZ area by the government policy if less than 30 customers or all the spaces are taken.

Stop 1

Imjingak Park, located 7 km from the Military Demarcation Line, is well known for its related to the Korean War. Imjingak was built in 1972 with the hope that someday unification would be possible. The three-storied Imjingak is surrounded by several monuments, Unification Park and North Korea Center.

Mangbaedan is a place where people who left their families in north visits on New years day.

The Bridge of Freedom at Imjingak is a historic railroad bridge used by prisoners of war returning from the North after the Korean War.

From this Dora Observatory, you can overlook North Korea and various locations including Gaeseong, Songaksan, Kim Il-Sung Statue, and Cooperation Farm (Geumamgol).

Stop 5

The 3rd Tunnel was discovered by South Korea in 1978. It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width, and 2m in height and is located 52km from Seoul. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel per hour.

(Optional) Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge, a suspension bridge has 150m length and 1.5m width locates in Solma-ri where Battle of Solma-ri, aka Battle of Gloster Hill held in 1951.
The battle of Solma-ri is one of the representative battles fought by UN forces in the Korean War and has important meaning as it is recorded as a representative battle of isolation defense.
During the battle, about 650 British troops sacrifice themselves against 25,000 Chinese troops for three days and it allows the UN forces to redeploy their troops to stop the Chinese invasion of Seoul.
