This excursion includes an itinerary in stages to let you know and appreciate places of particular natural value within the reserve of the Etna Park up to an altitude of about 2000 meters. Thanks to the experience of our staff, aboard 4x4 vehicles you will live an interesting and fun experience at the same time. Starting from the lava flows that threatened entire villages, you will visit the extinct craters and the lookout of the majestic Valle del Bove. You will visit a lava flow cave (lava tube) equipped with helmet and DA speleologist lights. The tour will end with a tasting of Sicilian specialties.

The tour winds through the visit of different attractions (at least 4): the ancient and recent lava flows; the Valle del Bove; the visit of a volcanic cave with lights and helmets; walk on the side craters at about 2000 meters.
Panoramic stop in the spectacular Valle del Bove, a natural amphitheater created by the collapse of the ancient eruptive centers of Etna. This stage may not be carried out starting from Taormina. Alternatively, you can reach the ski resort of Piano Provenzana destroyed by the 2002 eruption.
Visit this or a similar cave with lights and speleologist helmet to understand the fascinating phenomenon of the formation of lava tubes. The guides will assist you in this fascinating natural place to descend into the meanders of the volcano.
Tasting all'agricoltour MontataGrande with tasting of Etna and Sicilian specialties (wine, liqueurs, oil, honey from Zafferana, sweet creams, salty pesto, pistachio from Bronte, etc). This stage takes place with certainty only from the meeting points of Catania or MontataGrande, subject to availability of the location.
