About this experience

Explore like a “local” and dine like you lived here, with this fun filled day tour. The idea is to share appetizers at up to five great restaurants listed on your electric bike tour route. Each restaurants menu is a click on your tour app. You will also stop at breathtaking vista points, white sand beaches, meditation gardens and learn about the history of our area. This tour is a cell phone guided tour. The map on your phone will display the stops and the route. It will also show your position along the route if your phones GPS in turned on, so you won’t get lost. When you get close to a scheduled stop, your app tour guide will share information, history, and stories with you. Bring your ear buds or headset for best audio and your phone charging cord. You can charge your phone from the bikes power source. The bike is equipped with a phone holder on the handlebar. No electric bike experience is required as long as you can ride a bike

Take a break and stroll through the Meditation Gardens as part of your tour. Time spent here is up to you.

The navigation map on your phone will guide you through the back roads of Encinitas. The tour highlights stops at unusual historical landmarks, beautiful ocean vistas, white sand beaches and the downtown area. When you arrive at a stop your audio tour guide will share information and history with you. Your current position on the tour map is shown so you can wander off the suggested route without getting lost. We suggest three great restaurants and one coffee house stop. Share appetizers so you can experience all the restaurants. Don't forget to rate the restaurant so you can get your free wristwatch! Downtown Encinitas has many shops and boutiques to wander around in if you want to get off the bikes and stretch your legs. Since you are the only ones on the tour you can go “when you want and where you want”.

Cruise the coast and explore the Del Mar Racetrack, and Powerhouse Park/Beach. Powerhouse park and beach is a great place to stroll the beach and build up your appetite for your next two restaurant recommendations. Explore downtown Del Mar with its unique shops and boutiques. Your audio tour guide will share information, history and where to fine secure bike parking in downtown Del Mar.
