About this experience

Cassiopea has been renting boats since the 1950's, offering excursions, and providing transfers from the beach of Positano to a treasure trove of the most enchanting locations along the Amalfi Coast and to Capri island.

We use our 10 meter (33 ft) motorboat, skippered by one of our Captains. The boat can accommodate up to 12 passengers. On board you will find a comfortable cushioned sundeck, shaded seating area, metal ladder which makes boarding after your dip easy, toilet, towels, shower and complimentary soft drinks and Prosecco. You are welcome to bring along your own food and drink.

Your slow cruise will be highly memorable with time to enjoy the many sites, the BLUE GROTTO, caves and idyllic swimming spots along the way with a few hours to explore the island of Capri at your leisure. There’s a lot to do on Capri like take in the many places of interest and enjoy lunch, a bit of people watching and even indulge in some shopping at the exclusive boutiques in the town center.

Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

We take our guests past the famous Blue Grotto. It should be noted that entrance into the Blue Grotto requires transfer to smaller boats operated by local companies. This is at an additional cost. Queues can be extremely long and we will always provide guests with the option of waiting or rather enjoy more time on the island. The maximum amount of waiting time is 30 minutes.

2
Stop 2

The majestic White Grotto, Grotta Bianca, is just one of the Island of Capri's truly spectacular features that we will get up close to.

3
Stop 3

The rock compositions of this coastal area have been worn, over time and the sea, into features such as a Natural Arch.

4
Stop 4

You will quickly recognise the Faraglioni rocks from many famous commercials and movies. Today they are often the backdrop to the impressive array of enormous, private yachts waiting for their owners.

5
Stop 5

The iridescent green of this beautiful Grotto is the result of the way the light enters.

6

You will recognise the lighthouse at Punta Carena, from postcards and travel articles, as you head along the western coast to the Grotta Azzurra or Blue Grotto.

What's not included

The "Blue Grotto" entrance is not included. Tickets are purchase and paid directly at its entrance.
If you require we are able to arrange a stop for lunch at a seaside restaurant. Food & drinks costs not included.
