Free Winery and olive oil tasting in Embona’s village !

The wines are produced by collecting grapes from the vineyards, but the visitor can also find all the local wines from the small family factories of the village.

There are different kinds of wine: dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, sweet, red, white and rosé.

All the wines are made in Embona.

Visitors can also taste the home made wines, like the Muscat, which is a sweet dessert wine combined perfectly with nuts and fresh fruits. In addition, there are many liqueurs made in Rhodes - ouzo with coffee, souma with honey, masticha and pomegranate.

At the bar, visitors can taste a great variety of local wines for free.

Next to the house is the distillery for souma.

Souma is a local colorless alcoholic beverage, produced from the distillation of grape marc, and everyone can taste it for free.

Olive oil is also produced and visitors can find honey from local producers.
