Upon arrival at the starting point of National park, you will shift to an open concept observation jeep and will direct you to the Wilpattu, the best sight where you can see "Willu", Natural, sand-rimmed water basins or depressions that fill with rainwater. Our primary focus of this experience will be endemic leopards & wild elephants roaming around. Our co host (trekker by profession) will direct you to the spots where you can en-count these creatures, along the knowledge grabbed by being in this nature as a long stayed host for wildlife experiences. 31 species of mammals have been identified within Wilpattu national park (Mammals that are identified as threatened species living within the Wilpattu National Park are the elephant (Elephas maximus maximus), sloath bear (Melursus ursinus inornatus), leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya) and water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis). sambar deer (Rusa unicolor unicolor), spotted deer (Axis axis ceylonensis), mongoose, birds and more)
