Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Shahpur Jat was once a part of the city of Siri, one of the ancient capitals of Delhi. The ruins of the old city are still visible here. About 700 years ago, the Panwar Gotra Jats from Madhya Pradesh were drawn to the fertile lands of Shahpur Jat. While the farming lands have now given way to fashion boutiques, the Jat community still resides here.If you’ve ever needed to shop for a wedding, you’ve heard of Delhi Shahpur Jat fashion street. If you haven’t, well, you should! It’s meant for those of us who don’t want the heavy price tag of A-list designers, but also don’t want the generic Indian wear that most smaller markets sell. There’s something for EVERYONE at Delhi Shahpur Jat Fashion Street, no jokes. But that also means there’s wayyy too much to explore.

2
Stop 2

Dariban Kalan justifies it’s meaning as the “Street of Incomparable Pearls”. It is a 17th century street in Chandni Chowk of the Old Delhi or Shahjahanabad. It connects Chandni Chowk to Jama Masjid. It is a historical market popular for precious stones and gold & silver jewelry. The street witnessed the bloody massacre of Delhi in March 1739, ordered by the Persian invader Nadir Shah, when hundreds of innocent civilians and soldiers were killed and the gold shops were looted.

3
Stop 3

Kinari Bazaar is a wholesale market. Here you will get every thing you need for function/party especially for marriage. Great variety and collection of borders and embellishments can be found here at very low price. Buy any embroidery items like lace, thread work, embellishment, borders, stonework, gold/silver work and garlands. Here you can find best embroidery art from across India

4
Stop 4

Chandni Chowk has something to offer for everyone. Chandni Chowk's speciality is its variety and authenticity: food, delicacies and sweets of more than 1,000 kinds, sarees with chikan and zari. Narrow lanes host shops that sell books, clothing, electronic, consumer goods, shoes and leather goods. It is the location of the original Haldiram’s and brands such as Gianis. A particular local delicacy are the jalebis, which are fried in desi ghee(clarified butter).

The Cloth Market, supplies home furnishing fabrics, including ready-made items as well as design services. Nai Sarak is the wholesale market of stationery, books, paper and decorative materials. Lal Kuan is a wholesale market for hardware and hotel kitchen equipment. It is adjacent to Tilak Market which is a wholesale market for industrial chemicals. Located at the western end of Chandni Chowk, Khari Baoli is a street entirely dedicated to all kinds of spices, dried fruits, nuts, and herbs. Dariba is the market for silver and gold jewelry. This market also offers trophies, shields, mementos and related items.

5
Stop 5

Khari Baoli is a street in Delhi, India known for its wholesale grocery and Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice and tea. You can take a demo class to understand about the various Indian Spices and can pick few to gift or for your kitchen.
