At this point the fun Callejoneada Cholulteca begins. The guide, characterized by some important character from Cholula, will welcome the group and will be your host to tell the history and legends of this Magical Town. The Convent of San Gabriel was built with the same stones that were part of the Temple to Quetzalcóatl, which was standing when the Spanish conquerors arrived in Cholula. This temple was used for the rituals of the natives. Upon the arrival of the conquerors, it was destroyed and a Catholic temple was built in the same place.

At the foot of the pyramid with the largest base in the world, Cholulan dancers will perform a pre-Hispanic ceremony to renew energy and thank Mother Earth for the good things in life. To the rhythm of drums, rattles and shells, the dancers will use copal to cleanse each participant and invite them to dance with them.

This large plaza welcomes visitors to San Pedro Cholula. It is surrounded by one of the largest arcades in Latin America, the San Gabriel Convent, the San Pedro Parish and the Casa del Caballero Águila. This square has witnessed countless historical events.
