Detailed itinerary

1

Day 1: Manta - Guayaquil:
Upon arrival, you will need to board the port’s official shuttle bus, which will take you to the international arrivals area (main gate). There, you will be greeted by our driver or guide, who will be waiting with a clearly visible sign that reads “JD ADVENTURE TRAVEL”. From there, you will board our private vehicle for a non-stop journey of approximately 3 hours to Guayaquil. Upon arrival around 12:00 PM, you will be taken to your 4-star hotel, where you will check in and have a short rest. Later, you will meet your local guide for a relaxed walking tour of Guayaquil, exploring its highlights and cultural sites. After the tour, you will return to your hotel to enjoy a free evening at your leisure, and get ready for your next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Guayaquil - Galapagos:
Early breakfast at your hotel, then transfer to the airport for your 10:15 AM flight to the Galapagos Islands. You will be assisted with Galapagos Biocontrol and Transit Card procedures before your flight to Baltra Airport. Upon arrival, your English-speaking naturalist guide from the Galapagos National Park will welcome you and begin your adventure.

Your first stop is the Highlands of Santa Cruz, where you'll visit the impressive Twin Craters, walk through a natural lava tunnel, and search for giant tortoises in their natural habitat. A delicious lunch will be served in this unique environment. In the afternoon, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, where you'll learn about conservation efforts and visit the giant tortoise breeding centre. You'll also see the legacy of Lonesome George, the last of his species, who passed away in 2012.

Finally, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Puerto Ayora, the main town on the island.

Day 3: Tour Galapagos:
Early breakfast at your hotel, then you will begin your amazing adventure in a shared yacht excursion to one of the non-inhabited islands: Seymour, Plazas or Bartolome. You will be picked up at the hotel and cross the Island by bus. At the Itabaca channel, your naturalist guide and the crew of the yacht will be waiting for. Then you will be able to see the iconic fauna and fantastic landscapes of one of those islands. Of course, snorkelling is on the program today. You will also enjoy a delicious lunch on board.

NOTE: This tour depends on the regulation of the Galapagos National Park for inhabited islands. We will let you know which island we are visiting as soon as we get confirmation. (ALL MEALS INCLUDED, BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER)

Stop 4 Pass by

Day 4: Galapagos - Guayaquil - Lima:
Pick up for your transfer back to the airport for your flight back to Guayaquil departing at 1:37PM. On arrival at Guayaquil airport, you will be met by our guide who will assist you to connect for your next flight to Lima departing at 20:40. You will arrive into Lima at 22:40pm. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight. (MEALS INCLUDED. BREAKFAST)

Day 5: Lima - Cusco:
Your adventure begins at 06:00 am. Our team will assist you for your check-in and board your flight to Cusco departing at 7:55 am. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco. Day off. (MEALS INCLUDED. BREAKFAST)

OPTIONAL: If you are interested in a walking tour. This must be prearranged directly with your tour leader.

Stop 6 Pass by

Day 6: Machu Picchu tour:
Pick-up at 5:00 am for the train to Aguas Calientes. The scenic journey takes around 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll receive assistance and enjoy a private guided tour of Machu Picchu. There are two circuit options:
Circuit 2 (Classic Route): This is the most complete route, including the main viewpoints, the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana (the Solar Clock), Sacred Rock, and Temple of the Three Windows, among others. This circuit involves more walking and stairs but offers the most iconic and extensive views of Machu Picchu.
Circuit 3 (Lower Route): A shorter and less demanding route that covers the lower part of Machu Picchu, including the agricultural zone, Temple of the Condor, and water fountains. While less panoramic, it’s still impressive and suitable for those looking for a more moderate walk.
Both require advance booking and passport. After the visit, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, board the train back to Cusco.

Day 7: Cusco - Lima - San Martin Port:
On your final day, we will transfer you to the airport in time for the first available flight from Cusco to Lima. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting to assist you and transfer you to Puerto San Martín in Pisco, where you will rejoin your cruise ship.

If instead you prefer to reboard your cruise at the Port of Callao, simply let us know in advance, and we will adjust the transfer accordingly.

Important: All transfers are scheduled according to your cruise itinerary, so it’s essential to share your ship’s exact arrival and departure times with us in advance to ensure a smooth and timely return.

If the flight from Cusco to Lima has a delay and suddenly you lost the conection to re-join your ship at San Martin Port 'DO NOT PANIC' all transfer will be cover by us and we will make sure you get on board again in the next port.
