Sevan lake is the biggest water body in the territory of Armenia. During this tour we will have a stop near lake Sevan and we will visit monastery Sevanavank. Sevanavank is a monastic complex situated in the 4th century and is considered to be one of the main attractions in Armenia. From the monastery Sevanavank a great view opens to the blue Sevan. During this stop you can also have a traditional lunch in Sevan with Armenian fish, which is popular around the world with its unique taste.
The monastery complex Sevanavank is located on the peninsula of Sevan. In 305, it was founded by St. Gregory the Illuminator, who built the church on the place of a pagan temple.
The next stop will be in Haghartsin village which is located in Tavush region. Tavush region is beautiful during every season. From the village Haghartsin we will start our jeeping to the mountains of Tavush, from where the horseback riding will start. During the jeeping you will have an opportunity to feel the real adventures coming.
After reaching the starting point of the horseback riding, the professional instructor will lead you and give you information about the horses and the horseback riding.
