Amazing oasis at the roots of Iceland highlands, with small waterfalls and an old farm. Game of Thrones shooting location.
We will walk to the Old farm and into the Gjáin oasis. The walk is around 500 meters each way. Outdoor shoes are recommended when exploring Gjáin oasis.
One of Iceland's highest waterfalls, with an amazing view into the valley of Þjórsárdalur. We will drive up the rocky gravel roads leading to the Háifoss waterfall. After we reach the parking we will walk towards the viewpoint and take in this epic natural beauty.
Lunch stop at Hrauneyjar highland center.
Small but often very blue waterfall at the entrance to the Iceland Highlands. We will explore for a short time before we continue our journey.
Valley of tears, an amazing canyon with series of small waterfalls, with the water often being green-blue, is one of Iceland's best-hidden photography locations. Where we will explore the canyon from above and bask in the beauty of this place.
We will explore the desolated area around Volcano Hekla, from safe distance/ when conditions are good drive up to Rauðaskál crater
