About this experience

Join my small family groups that give us the chance to discover the beauty of the Gulf of Tigullio: the charming village of Santa Margherita, gateway to the fishing village of Portofino. At our meeting we will walk through the streets of Santa Margherita, appreciating both the artistic and scenic beauties, until arriving at the boarding for Portofino.
Once you reach the iconic village surrounded by colorful houses and elegant shops, we will stroll to Brown Castle to enjoy the view from the Lighthouse. Free time available and then return together to Santa Margherita for 2.15 pm.
In case of bad weather you can reach Portofino by public transport.

Place of worship dedicated to Our Lady of the Rose built in the mid-17th century in Baroque style, with a significant Gothic facade enriched with bas-reliefs, columns and two bell towers. Inside you can admire precious stucco decorations and frescoes, paintings and various sculptural works.

Defensive building erected in 1550 to defend the territory from Saracen pirate raids. Located at the foot of the hill, it is a rectangular structure directly overlooking the sea, with a tower to protect the entrance to the Castle.

On the seafront we can admire the marble statue of Christopher Columbus made at the end of the 1800s, exactly on the 450th anniversary of the discovery of the New World.

With the boat we will reach the famous fishing village of Portofino, nestled among Mediterranean colors in the placid small bay where the typical Ligurian pastel-colored houses that are leaning against the Marina and the famous "Piazzetta" overlook.
We will walk to Brown Castle, with its park surrounded by greenery and then reach the Lighthouse: from where we will enjoy an unforgettable view of the beautiful bay.
We will have time for an excellent ice cream, unforgettable photographic views or a little shopping among the typical "carrugi", the Ligurian alleys.
Included in the visit a taste of the typical and tasty Focaccia
