This tour will take you through the Old Town of Dubrovnik and along its Walls. I am a history buff and the walking tour will allow me to bring to life the rich history of my city. We shall climb and walk the Walls, too. In the past the Walls have defined and defended the city and nowadays they provide the best vistas down on Dubrovnik's Old Town and the Adriatic Sea. A real feast for the eye.
During the walking tour, you'll get to walk down the main street called Stradun and stop to take a photo or two of Onofrio's Fountain built at the very end of the medieval aqueduct which was an amazing feat of engineering given the time period.
Another stop will be made in front of the Franciscan Monastery. Did you know that its pharmacy is one of the oldest in the world?
We shall stop in front of St Blaise's Chruch and learn about the protector of our city.
You will get to photograph and enjoy the elaborate architecture of Sponza Palace and the Rector's Palace
On our way towards the Walls we shall pass by the Cathedral of Dubrovnik which is overlooking one of the entrances into the Old Port.
We shall walk the Walls of Dubrovnik which have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Nautika Restaurant is just outside the western city gate, Pile Gate. I shall be in front of the restaurant holding a sign with your name printed on it.
