About this experience

A transformative journey away from the busy city life of Jaipur. Walk through the village of carpet weavers for an immersive workshop with Vedic Walks.

Dominated by women, this lesser-known village has evolved as a Rug making settlement. Keeping alive traditional techniques, the community has advanced their art and skill over years and has reached a panache in the textile industry of India. Get a glimpse of the rural settlement walking through mud clad cattle breeding houses, potter family and weaving looms.

Interact with female artisans who have empowered themselves to financially support their families. A walk through the village is an up- close affinity with the rural life and daily chores of artisan lives.
