About this experience

A shopping trail through the geometrically precise alleys of the city while exploring the local art and craft of Jaipur for a memorable experience on an exclusive E-rickshaw.

Enter the by-lanes ‘gullies’ of Jaipur’s famous Quadrant to see the community of metal beaters, bangle makers and stone carvers inhabiting this quadrant for over generations. Get a first hand art demo at each visited place to understand these art forms and know why Jaipur is called as 'Capital of Indian art & craft'.

Zip though the oldest spice market of Jaipur to understand the trick behind aromatic Indian Cuisine.

Later in the tour, we will visit a Block Printing and a Hand-woven Carpet stores that manufactures the two most prominent textiles of Rajasthan. Learn about the process of hand-block printing and carpet weaving in detail before we end our today's experience.

Our E-rickshaw will zip up though the narrow by-lanes of the city visiting multiple workshops of famous art / craft of Jaipur.

Visiting home of a President awarded Meenakari artisan of Jaipur for a detailed workshop and understand the illusive art of Meenakari. A wide variety of metals is used for Meenakari designing, including brass, copper, silver and gold. Enamel colours chiefly consist of metal oxides mixed with a tint of finely powdered glass.

Explore and understand the art of Rajasthan's most popular hand-block printing technique. Meet the local artisans working live using natural colors. After a brief demo, you will get an opportunity of picking some traditional hand-block printed textile for yourself.

Our last stop during the tour would be visiting a carpet workshop where carpet are hand woven by local artisans .
