Stop 1
Old Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza is a tour where you will be able to see the Coptic churches, the oldest mosque in Egypt and the synagogue, as well as the famous pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Although you will see the Amr Ibn El As Mosque and the Abram Ibn Azr Synagogue only from the outside, you will also be able to visit the Coptic churches, including the Suspended Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary – and the Church of Saint Sergius inside. According to tradition, it was in the place where the church of Saint Sergius is built that the Holy Family stopped during their stay in Egypt. You will see crypt where they were supposed to reside.
The price of the trip includes a ticket to the pyramids, so you will be able to have them at your fingertips. If you would be interested in going inside one of the pyramids, it is additionally paid according to the price list on the spot (about 150 le for smaller pyramids and about 450 le for the pyramid of Cheops).
